JL Dixon Stable attends horse shows across the country, beginning in March and finishing in November.
Our Goal is to help people understand the true nature of horsemanship. The bond between horse and rider is unique, and the lessons learned from our horses are like none other. We strive to pass on our skills as horsemen with regard to the care of the horses.
Dixon Stable is a place for making new friends and maintaining old ones. We offer many social activities for our riders and their families, such as Movie Nights, Family Barbecues, and Summer camp.
Jennifer works directly with each horse to ensure that individual client's needs are fulfilled. She oversees every aspect of the horse's care, including veterinary and chiropractic visits, expert farrier care and daily workouts so that each horse looks and feels its best.
Safety is our highest priority and creates the foundation for learning, growing, and fun.
Training and Customized Care
Marco Antonio Mendoza has been an integral part of JL Dixon Stable for the past 20 years. Antonio began his equestrian career learning how to be a caretaker, grooming and preparing horses for work. As he learned and matured in his care-taking abilities he quickly understood that grooming show horses would be his passion. Antonio excels at the intricacies of preparing the horses in his care to head to the show ring. He runs the barn aisle with precision on a daily basis. Over the years Antonio has also shown several horses including CH Like Sunshine. His patience and understanding of each horse also helps him in jogging and long lining horses. Antonio posses a great sense of humor and is quite the jokester. JL Dixon Stable is fortunate to have such a hard working professional.

"My passion is to cultivate a dynamic relationship between rider and horse; to strengthen the best qualities in both, and to create a winning team. It’s exciting when my students advance to the next level of competition. It’s also rewarding to hear how the self-confidence mastered in the ring translates to other areas of their lives including school and work”. ~ Jennifer Dixon
